
Entertainment Game Apps, Ltd. (EGA) was founded in 2014 with the idea of creating serious games in which History and Cultural Heritage make for the actual protagonists. For this reason we put the game contents first and take care of every detail of the historical reconstruction, thanks to the most up-to-date historical-archaeological research.

Maurizio Amoroso
CEO - Senior Game Designer
Born in 1972, trained as a programmer specialized in development and management of information systems.
In 2014, he founded Entertainment Game Apps, Ltd., a software house developing video games for smartphones and tablets, in which he holds the role of CEO and Senior Game Designer. In 2014, he realized his first project, “Prosperity-1434”, a video game which has immediately made clear the company’s mission: to develop historical-archaeological videogames enhancing Italian Cultural Heritage thanks to contents accurately conceived and designed in collaboration with researchers and experts in the specific fields. With EGA, Maurizio went on developing important projects, directly involving Italian cultural institutions, such as the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia which endorsed and contributed to “Mi Rasna”, a videogame dedicated to the Etruscan civilization. To date, EGA has also opened up to the world of children education, to international projects, such as “Trames – smart TouRism across the Mediterranean Sea” co-financed by the EU, and to initiatives dedicated to the promotion of the Italian territories, such as the Umbrian “Lab8 project” for the development of those municipalities of L’Aquila struck by the earthquake.

Margo Lengua
Project Manager
Graduated in Art History at the IULM University of Milan with a dissertation focused on the dissemination of cultural content through alternative digital languages, she has been specializing for the last few years in the cultural heritage storytelling on digital media.
She collaborated with cultural institutions, such as the Triennale di Milano and the Municipal Museums of Rimini, for which she dealt with mediation, communication of cultural contents and planning of institutional projects. She took part in projects for digital culture such as Museomix. She has been contributing to this event since 2017, dealing with communication activities and visual identity. In her professional career, she has been personally involved in the design and organization of art initiatives and exhibitions. Since 2016 she is an active part of the Entertainment Game Apps.’s team with the task of project manager.

Clizia Brozzesi
2D Artist
Her passion for drawing and her desire to communicate through images are the basis of her studies.
After achieving a diploma in Architecture and Furniture, she now works freelance and draws covers and illustrations for books and e-books for customers in Denmark and the United States. She also collaborates with advertising companies, such as Videozlab and Videoexplainers based in India and the United States. She creates whiteboard animations, storyboards, and clean-ups for companies worldwide. She also makes storyboards for movie companies like the Albania-based company Anima Pictures and the Roman company NocteFilm. For Entertainment Game Apps. she has been working as a graphic designer since the first project, Prosperity – Italy 1434.

Michela De Bernardin
Historical researcher - Editor
After graduating in Classics and Ancient History at the University of Pisa and the Scuola Normale Superiore, she achieved her Ph.D. in Ancient History and Archaeology working both at the Scuola Normale Superiore and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität of Heidelberg.
She moves with passion and competence among various fields of research, from epigraphy to the history of religions, from numismatics to archeology. Between 2006 and 2012 she participated in the annual excavation campaigns at the agorà of Segesta (TP) and then obtained several research grants at the American Academy in Rome and the Scuola Normale Superiore. Interested in investigating the dynamics of problems related to cultural heritage, she also completed the annual master’s degree in Judicial Archaeology and Crimes against Cultural Heritage organized by the Centro Studi Criminologici (Viterbo). For her final dissertation, she explored the issue of illicit trafficking of archaeological finds from Syria. Moved by the desire to personally contribute to the protection of cultural heritage, she has been actively collaborating, as co-director and editor, to the online magazine The Journal of Cultural Heritage Crime. Finally, in October 2018, she joined the team of Entertainment Game Apps. as a researcher and content creator for videogames with a historical-archaeological background: a new way to talk about history and archaeological heritage.

Nina Marotta
Historical researcher - Editor
Graduated in Archaeology at the University of Siena, she is currently involved in the didactics of Archaeology and the promotion of cultural heritage.
From 2011 to 2014, she collaborated as a museum educator with the Ranuccio Bianchi Bandinelli Archaeological Museum in Colle Val d’Elsa (SI) and the Archaeological Park of Dometaia (SI). Between 2014 and 2015, she conceived, managed and organized events and exhibitions for the Humanistic Library of the University of Siena, aiming at promoting and enhancing its bibliographical and archival fund. In 2014 she co-founded the association M(u)ovimenti which promotes initiatives spreading knowledge and awareness about our shared cultural heritage. The association collaborates on a national scale with schools, of all levels, public and private bodies, cooperatives and companies dealing with communication of cultural heritage. In 2014, together with four fellow archaeologists, she started Archeokids, a blog that tells Archaeology to children. Since then, she has been co-managing of the blog and writing specific contents.

Emanuela D'Ignazio
Historical researcher - Editor
After graduating in 2014 in Christian and Medieval Archaeology at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, she graduated from the School of Specialization of “La Sapienza” University in Rome, with a thesis in Archaeology and Medieval Epigraphy.
She also earned a post-graduate Diploma in “Management of Museums and Cultural Enterprises” by Il Sole 24Ore Academy, where she learned the effective managerial tools to promote and communicate cultural contents. She is currently a Ph.D. student at the Pontifical Gregorian University, with a research project in Topography of Early-Christian Rome. From 2015 to 2018 she worked for the SITAR Project of the Special Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Rome, dealing with the implementation of the WebGIS platform, in the aim of protecting the archaeological heritage of Rome and sharing knowledge about it. She has developed excellent skills in archaeological survey and drawing, GIS, and research and management of documentation. She also collaborated in some promotion initiatives of the Roman National Museum and lectured at the II level Master “Architecture for Archaeology”. She participated in many excavation campaigns and European projects, such as the Corpus Architecturae Religiosae Europae. She earned the qualification of Tourist Guide and carried out sporadic collaborations in the editorial and scholastic field. Since June 2019, she has been collaborating with Entertainment Game Apps., as an archaeologist and specialized topographer.

Giulia Chellini
3D Modeler
After graduating in History of Art at the Sapienza University in Rome, she achieved her diploma of specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage at the University of Siena with a dissertation on diagnostics for cultural heritage.
Thanks to a scholarship granted by the Regione Lazio, she specialized in computer technologies applied to cultural heritage (i.e. photogrammetry, 3D modeling, and virtual museums). She worked at the ENEA Research Center in Frascati (RM) dealing with 3D modeling for museums. She then continued specializing in technologies for heritage and was accepted at the School for the Computer Graphics at CINECA in Bologna, where she deepened her knowledge of web-used 3D modeling. At the same time, she is involved in cultural dissemination: she is museum educator in Museums of Rome and creates and leads guided tours in collaboration with Roman Cultural Associations. Since April 2018 she has been collaborating with Entertainment Game Apps. dealing with 3D modeling.

Marta Ascari
Game music composer
Singer, composer, arranger and music producer.
After graduating with honors in Composition for Film Music at the Conservatory of Bologna (3-year diploma), she also earned a 2-year diploma at the Conservatory of Rovigo. She deals with soundtracks for videogames, documentaries, films, and commercials. She signs her pop music albums under the pseudonym La Tarma and collaborates with several figures prominent in film music, both contemporary and light. She studies singing with Navid Mirzadeh (Lichtenberg® Method) and has been combining for years creativity with vocal technique research. Her writing ranges from orchestral music to electronic music and she approaches the current of neo-minimalism.

Teresa Magliocca
Editorial Assistant
Graduated in Textual Skills in Publishing at the University for Foreigners in Siena. Thesis in Publishing and Social Networks. Analysis of a successful contamination between “traditional” literature and new social media communication.
It is about the dissemination and enhancement of cultural heritage through new social communication channels, with a focus on the world of publishing and libraries.
Currently attending the Executive Master in Cultural Heritage Management at the University of Siena and the Master in Social Media Manager at the Artedata School.
About to begin a new training course in the context of European planning for cultural heritage.

Andrea Pennelli
Press Office Assistant
Graduated in linguistics at the University of Bologna. He deals with language teaching and digital communication.
Fluent in English and Portuguese. Currently enrolled in the postgraduate degree course “Image, Cinema and Audiovisual Management” (MICA) of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and press office intern at EGA.
